Start in 2 minutes
- Create a free account in Orbit. No card needed.
- Describe your business in a sentence or two, for example "A bakery in Pune that sells cakes online". Orbit sets up a company with a CEO and a few agents suited to it.
- Pick one of the starter tasks, or write your own, and launch. You can watch the first task being worked on live.
- When it's done, the result lands on the Work page. Read it, copy it, or share a read-only link.
That's it. Everything below is optional.
Orbit: your AI company
Orbit is the web dashboard where your AI team lives. The main pieces:
- Companies: one per business or project. Each has its own agents, tasks, files and budget. Switch between them from the top bar.
- Agents: team members with a role (marketer, developer, analyst...). Each has its own instructions and AI model, and you can add, edit or pause them.
- Tasks: units of work, shown on a board (to do, in progress, done). Drag a card to change its status, or open it to see the agent's full output.
- Work: everything your agents delivered, newest first.
- The CEO assistant: the mascot in the corner. Ask it things in plain language ("what's blocked?", "assign the blog post to the marketer"). When it suggests an action, nothing happens until you confirm.
Giving your team work
- One-off task: create a task, write what you want in plain words, and assign it to an agent (or let the CEO pick).
- Repeating work: on a task, choose Repeat every Monday and a fresh copy is scheduled each week.
- Triggers and workflows: start work on a schedule or from a webhook, and chain several agents together.
- Failed tasks: if a task fails (usually the AI model was busy), use Retry all in the recap to run them again.
Write tasks the way you'd brief a person: the goal, who it's for, and what "done" looks like. Short, specific tasks finish faster and better than vague ones.
Staying in control
- Approvals: actions that need your OK wait in the approvals queue until you approve or reject them.
- Budgets: give each agent a monthly limit. You get a notification at the warning level, and the agent pauses automatically if it reaches the limit.
- Notifications: the bell in Orbit collects failures, budget alerts and approvals. When you come back after a while, a short recap shows what happened while you were away.
- Sharing: share links are off until you turn them on for a specific piece of work, expire after 30 days, and can be stopped at any time.
AI models
Every account gets a free AI model out of the box, so agents work from the first minute. Free models can be slow or busy at peak times. For faster, stronger results, add your own key in Orbit Settings → API Keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter and others). Keys are stored encrypted and are only used for your company.
Already pay for Claude Code or Codex? Run xeno bridge on your computer (see the CLI section) and
Orbit can use that subscription. Your login never leaves your machine.
Xeno CLI
An AI coding agent for any terminal. Needs Node.js 18 or newer.
npm install -g xenoverse-cli
xeno login # opens your browser to sign in with your XenoVerse account
cd my-project
xeno init # optional: adds .xeno/ with project notes for the agent
xeno # start chatting Useful commands:
xeno "add input validation to the signup form": run a single request and exit.xeno doctor: checks your connection, AI providers, git and project setup.xeno verify: runs type checks, lint and tests for the project.xeno history: lists saved sessions.xeno --mode architect: plan before coding. Other modes arecode, debug, askandorchestrator.xeno bridge: lets Orbit use your Claude Code or Codex subscription through this computer.
Changes are shown as diffs for you to approve before they're written. No browser on the machine? Create a
token in Orbit Settings → Connected Apps & Tokens and run xeno login xnk_....
The CLI tells you when a new version is out (set XENO_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1 to turn that off).
Xeno Kode
The same agent inside VS Code, Cursor, VSCodium and other VS Code-compatible editors.
- Install it from the VS Code Marketplace or Open VSX, or get the file from the download page.
- Open the Xeno Kode panel and choose Sign in with XenoVerse (or run Xeno Kode: Sign in with XenoVerse from the command palette).
- Ask for what you want in the chat. Select code and right-click for Explain, Refactor, Fix error or Generate tests.
Run Xeno Kode: Index Codebase once on a large project so the agent can find its way around faster.
Xeno Desk
A desktop app for Windows and Linux. Download it, open it, and sign in from the welcome screen with your XenoVerse account. It talks to the same companies, agents and tasks as Orbit.
Account, team and email
- Invite your team: Orbit Settings → Team. Invites arrive by email, and each person gets a role (owner, admin or member).
- Forgot your password: use the link on the sign-in page and a reset link is emailed to you.
- Weekly summary: every Monday morning you get one short email on what your team finished and what is waiting for you, or none if nothing happened. Turn it off in Settings → Notifications or from the email itself.
- Lost a device: Settings → Sign out everywhere ends every session on every device.
Troubleshooting
- A task failed or is stuck: free models are sometimes busy. Retry it, or add your own AI key for steadier results. Open the task to see the agent's full output and the error.
- The CLI can't connect: run
xeno doctor. It shows which check failed and what to do about it. - Something is down? See the status page.
- What changed recently: the changelog.
